AJ’s Big Mac Classic

The AJ's Big Mack Classic Fishing Tournament will be held September 17-19 in Destin, Florida. The tournament will feature all King Mackerel. This tournament is sponsored by local merchants and raises funds for Take a Kid Fishing and Project Christmas Cheer. Participating players can win one, five or fifty cash prizes.

Swansboro Rotary Club King Mackerel Blue Water Tournament is now one of the most important fundraising events. In its early years, the tournament had less than 100 participants and a purse of $10,000. In 1988, however, the prize purse had surpassed the $100,000 mark and Lee Moore was the master of ceremonies. The tournament attracted many more fisherman and was also one the first to appear on the Southern Kingfish Association's tour.

The Carolina Kingfish Classic 3rd Annual at Charleston Harbor Resort and Marina is an all-day fishing festival featuring live entertainment, auctions and southern hospitality. Only motor boats are allowed to participate in the tournament. The tournament will also feature a beach party with live music, as well as an after-party with live auctions. The Carolina Kingfish Classic will benefit Windwood Farm Home for Children.
